Keeping your chin up, Sometimes hurts But it's better than letting the worst Shine through the world. Keep it real, Keep it strong Even if it doesn't belong Be true, because Inside is where it matters Truth and love Only matter when The heart on the inside is warm. Idle hugs, Needless cries It's better to keep the chin up When the darkness takes a hold.

As I was reading your poem for whatever reason I thought of Charlottes Web and the line where she says to Wilbur--"Chin up Wilbur". She was a very wise spider.
I loved your poem and thought you did a fine job composing it.
A great reminder to keep our chins up. :) |
