Id fold my wings were I an angels boy; Id land the plane if flying in the sky; Id plunder under thickened tides in joy And grow the fins Id never been denied
Ive seen the oceans waves reflect desire; Ive smiled and laughed with those upon the shore; Ive tried to fly again as they rose higher But with my choice Im grounded ever more
Im floating on the surface of the sea; Where sky and ocean meet to feed the earth; Im sprouting wings again, to set me free But doubts have cast me to rethink their worth
I may decide to dip between the two; And bathe myself in all the shades of blue

well wrote. Out of all the forms of poetry the sonnet is done the least honor yet in my eye is the most beautifal. i liked it and am honored to have been the first to read and comment on it. This is indeed a masterpiece. |
