I reach down
Deep inside my heart
But it's not there
The hope that I had is no longer here
The joy that I had has now turned to fear
The fear of awaking to another day
Filled with emptiness and hate
I feel so empty and incomplete
I need a sign that you still want me
I don't know what it's like
To know that you're loved
Because I can't even remember
The last time we hugged
I'm a slave to this feeling of loneliness
I hope I was meant for more than this
Your face follows me where ever I go
But you're not actually there so that's how I know
That I'll always feel alone as long as I'm here
And you don't seem to really even care
