Im Sorry Mom

Contributed by Laurel126 on Wednesday, 23rd June 2004 @ 04:07:12 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The hateful words
the sheded tears
the lonely nights
make up these past few years

mom im sorry
what am i to do?
what am i supposed to say
when u hate me the way you do

so you hate me now?
is that what it is?
you want to send me away?
am i what your problem is?

im sorry
so now i lock myself in my room for days
as i pack my bags
these 4 walls around me become one big haze

im ready to go
next morning not a word is said
i eat my last breakfast with you
and i go upstairs to make my bed

well my flight is boarding
i hear my row being called
i turn from you so you wont see me ball

i slowly walk away with tears in my eyes
you seem fine
for one last look i turn around
only to see that youre no where to be found

This could have been myself five years ago... boarding a flight to my dad's house, a man I never knew.... kicked out... by my idol...

It's a sad story... and if you ever need to talk... I know where you are... and... don't let the pain scar you, one thing I never believed was that people cared about me... don't make the same mistake... please...
