"I've been doing some thinking,"
The voice replied to the silence-
"Alittle about you-"
Trembling it continued, through the wires.-
"You make me smile"
"And you're so real"
As he stopped to collect his thoughts-
And the voice goes on-
"You're so open; like a book,"
"I can't explain it; you're just you."
So I sit in quiet wonder on the phone
Line gone dead, the voice is gone
Echoing through my mind
The reverberations of a man who's kind.
"So, tomorrow, what do you want to do?"
"I mean, it's enough for me, just to be with you."
And the voice causes sudden chills
Throughout my body it never stills.
"I believe in love and faith. Hope and life. I believe two people merge ideals to build up trust. Thats when they fall in love, after they make is all one."
Thats when the voice...created... LOVE.

Beautiful write, Lindsey, and on a beautiful subject . . . he sounds great for you, from what you've told me of him :), and I truly hope you two find happiness and lots of it, 'cause YOU DESERVE IT. Wow, this is superb. I like the way you meshed his quotes, and what you were thinking at each moment. Such a unique approach. Also, it's very polished and reads very smoothly. Very, very well done, and hey--I feel good about you two as well!
