I guess I am I liar, Thats what my Dad likes to say. I know that I am not, Its just another typical day.
It happens all the time, He just makes us all upset. I still love my Dad, So I have to pay my debt.
I have to stand up for myself, I have to back up my feelings. I know it must be hard for him, But it all has a reason for happening.
I never knew all this would occur, My life has continued to keep crashing down. Its nothing new in the life of me, Everyday he causes my frown.
If only he would take the time, If only he would believe me. If only he would trust my word, Hed be able to see.
Shes not the women he thinks, Shes so different when hes not there. Ive never got him to realize that, I guess he just doesnt care.
Hes blind to the facts, I want him to see. Its affecting many people, Its not all about me!
It hurts me everyday, I have a permanent hole and a lifelong scar. It can never be filled or fixed, So Ill keep wishing upon a star.

My parents are divorced as well. Also because of my father. I used to love my father but now I can't feel anything but horror at what he truly is inside. You have a great amount of talent. The only problem is that usually, it takes great pain to produce a great poet. Hang in there and support your mother, if your situation is anything like mine, she is going to need it. Wonderful job. |
