On rainy days when there's nothing to do
I sit around and I stare at that old picture of you
Wishing you could be here now
I lay here and I wonder how ...
How is it that we liked one another
Yet no one said a word?
Were we just two shy children to scared to be heard?
If I could see your face today
If I could look you in your eyes
This is what I would say to you
And just hope you felt the same way ...
Three years ago we could have been
What other people have now
But for some odd reason I had to leave
I didn't say goodbye
The day I left I thought of you
It made me want to cry
Later down the road in life
I don't know just how far
Someday we should meet again
And see inside the heart
Then realize that a long time ago
we shouldn't have been apart
But until that day comes I hope that you remember me
Because I will never forget you!!
