It happens when youre all alone
When theres not a sound or a tone
The emotions that come over you
They may be many or a few
You think about the happy days
When the love you felt
Went both ways
When you both shared that lovers gaze
But now thats all gone
You thought there would never be another
That you were his only lover
Until he found her
Now theres no medicene that can cure
The pain that you endure
And now you want to fight
Kick and scream and bite
This happens through out the night
Till the tears blure your sight
Then the light comes soo bright
And you see what really happened
You had a major problem
That is
Until you got em
Yes
It made you sick
And it was only a little nick
But others could see the truth
You thought you had no friends
That drugs were it
But that was then
You liked to cut
So you could hide in your gut
All the pain and all the hell
Because you thought you could not tell
The ones who loved you most
Then
When you could finally see
The person youd turned out to be
When you realized you needed help
It felt like being hit with a belt
But the damage had been done
Now youve been ostrasized
Stared at by glaring eyes
Feeling hopeless and despised
But it didn't have to be
So now youre clean and sober
You have the chance to start over
So
To all those poeple
Whose heart you had broken
And friendships you revoked
You say this solem prayer
' I hope lifes better, when Im not there.'

wow this is incredible! It really made me think about my life and what I was doing and how I'm trying to quit...I slipped up a few days ago but I'm really trying!
