I close this chapter of my life
As another one unfolds
My horizon seems to broaden
But things are so unclear
Like looking through the fog
I see only when it's near
As intangible as it seems
Most hold it oh so dear
I cannot anticipate what
Lies ahead
Nor do I plan to fear
I will live my life from
day to day, which will eventually
Add up to years
Then I will be what I never
Thought I would be
Which won't be wholly what
I once was

Wonderful contemplations. Live one day at a time.......and yes that all adds up into years and they fly by so fast!
