If I could grasp shimmering time, when I had it all in my hand, I,d show you the wind or Two within your minds Eye, Would look upon Truth, with the right to understand, Because everything's a trick, and we've been told a White lie. Dont blame me stream, for pointing this out, Im just a foolish Man, that simply asked a question, About a thought that lies within the doubt, Being spoken of by mystics from Babylon. Shes all right, she's OK, I love her so, I think she knows, Tell her I love her, I,ll see her on the other side, Of Cupids love tangles, Pink love hearted Bows, I gave her my heart, and Sweet Strawberry, I tried. As a Boy, I liked to draw, like Michelangelo, Raphael, And i,d draw to my hearts content, with a friend, And now, after many years, I don't have any thing to sell, And Im living on poverty's line, near the end. This may be too personal or touch within you - a chord, For I have realized everyone, at some time, comes to a point, When you wonder if its worth it, and all you've adored, Has all been for nothing, nothing to a point. Rivers run, and keep on running - they always will, No body is going to miss me, the rivers will still flow, They just keep on running, they've got time to kill, Water from the Himalaya, from melted snow. Sweet Strawberry's in Deutschland, and Im not allowed, My heart pangs for her love, and I miss her so, Bach symphonys taunt me and howled, My heart sinks, sinks ever so low.
