Just sitting on the porch as were talking on the phone
Just truly missing you when Im home and all alone
Just laying on the couch watching great big dinosaurs
Just drifting into peace as you pat my hand with yours
Just sleeping with a blanket that reminds me of your hugs
Just smelling cheap cologne on my shoulder when it shrugs
Just laughing at our jokes yeah that is so very nice
Just because your friends like meeven though we broke up twice
Just making foolish comments about pirate-ninja dudes
Just teasing one another cause were in one of those moods
Just listening to music that reminds me of good times
Just reading lines of poetry and sweet-but-simple rhymes
Just watching trucks drive off because were sitting at the park
Just eating not so much receiving crouton-like remarks
Just baking in the kitchen as youre playing with my cats
Just walking up the path trying to avoid the gnats
Just having crazy friends that find pez in my back seat
Just listing phony names like Mark and Josh and Pete
Just kissing every time we tread upon another stair
Just going over here when their house is over there
Just trying to keep secrets so our friends wont give us crap
Just waking to your phone call after a mid-noontime nap
Just stopping extra long to make sure theres not a train
Just driving to your houseHey I cant see through the rain!!!
Just buying chocolate pudding since I know its what you like
Just hearing silly stories about Bubba, you and Mike
Just knowing youll be loved by my whole family
Just feeling like this fits
Me and you and you and me
