Crystal minds scorned by darkness Shine fractured light to mud and stone. Yet these things cannot absorb it. They turn their backs and sit alone.
Rocks, hard rocks, why wont you hear me? This light is not mine to give away. But still I speak to those unhearing. Hoping theyll hear what I say.
Cold and grey, they stare so blindly At those of us with colored wings. They scream out in silent envy And blame us for the saddest things.
Arise, Arise, Lay still no longer! Show the world what you can do. Never fear their harsh reaction Or the pain they put you through.

Ah, but reality is so difficult to accept sometimes! I must admit to being both the screamer and the unhearing rock. It's perhaps a rather ineffective way to operate one's mind... but nonetheless...
I love the imagery and the frustration that you've embedded in this piece. I have to imagine that those silly rocks will hear you one day.
Very nice done! You've peeked my interest... I will be reading more of your work. Consider me a new fan!
