A Whisper in the Darkness

Contributed by the_story_of_the_year on Saturday, 26th June 2004 @ 01:04:39 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Creeping through the dark
I thought I hard you talk
To me unseen
Yet so real to me
Guiding me with your hand
Through the black fog in front of me
Only to be tripped up
By my own pathetic reality
The insanity
Is screaming at me
From all directions
I'm caught in the middle
Telling me what I should be
Temporarily amused by attractions
Wasting time until the your coming
To rescue you me from you
From believing it is true
That we could be together
Only me and you
We can shine our light
Through this evil in front of us
To regain our sight
I'll watch your back
As you watch mine
I'll take the hit for you
As long as there's time
I won't let them touch you
I"ll give up my own life
If it needs to be
To protect you
Even from me

This makes a lot of sense, and these words
"ll give up my own life
If it needs to be
To protect you
Even from me

are powerful words. You appear to be going in a lot of directions at the moment. Hopefully it will all make sense to you. June
