Here I sit
Where you left me
My heart is bleeding
Broken yet beating
Here's the pain
It's buried deep
Inside of me
And so I weep
Here's the scar
That's started to form
From the pain
That I've worn
Here's the hurt
You gave to me
It's buried deep
Inside of me
Here's my heart
Broken, shattered
Because you weren't there
When it most mattered
Here's more pain
That you have made
It's deeper still
Inside of me
Here's the wound
That will not heal
Here's the hurt
I'm left to feel
Here's the place
I saw you last
My tears have stained
This broken glass
Here's the tears
I've been crying
Since you left me
Broken, dying
Here's the place
I knew you last
But that was when
I thought we'd last
Here's the fear
You've placed in me
It's buried deep
Inside of me
Here's the life
I've been trying
To keep away
Somewhere in hiding
Here's the place
My life has been

OUCH! WRITTEN VERY WELL-ALTHOUGH SAD!! TAKE THAT BROKEN HEART & ITS TOKEN TO START,& LET IT MEND B/C THEN YOU'RE GONNA WIN IN THE END!!! SOUNDS LIKE ALOT OF HEART TO GO TO WASTE,SO FIND YOURSELF ANOTHER LOVE WITH A BETTER TASTE!!!! GREAT WROTE ALYSIA!!!!!

| THIS WAS AMAZING! reminds me of stuff that i write, not that my stuff is amazing, but it just has that quality of emotional outpour in it. and i can relate so much to this. and i loved the flow and rhyme, really terrific piece. |
