Cant say Ive ever felt this way
Or maybe I have
Once upon a time
When my world was simple and true
Now its so complex, I dont know what to do
Youve got me all confused
But you bring me back to the simple life
Back to what is true
Ive shed my skin
Of a life I once lived
Now Im in a new skin
Learning how to live again
You make me smile
When my world is blue
Just hearing your voice
Makes my day a little brighter
My nights arent so lonely
I know youre there
In your arms I lie awake
Listening to your soft breath
Feeling your warm embrace
Thinking about how there is nowhere else I'd rather be
Its sorta scary, this sense of security I get
Im not used to it
But I think I like it
You push me to my limits
Supporting my choices
Or what I do
You wont let me settle for anything less than my best
You bring out a part of me
I didnt think existed
Or died a long time ago
Dancing to Angel Eyes
I cant help but wonder
What made you turn your attention my way?
I try to find the answer in your eyes
But to no avail
Cause you are hard to read
Not open like a book
All these feelings spinning around in my head
And I dont know what to do
So please help me
Help me to understand you
