What can I say to change your mind?
To take heart for your friend and mine?
Shes living a life in chaos right now
Going through a living hell
Something neither of us will ever know how it really feels
So please dont give up on her right now
Try and be her friend somehow
Cause you may be the only one she feels that she has left
Dont leave her side just when she may need you the most
Please dont give up on her right now
I know she can be annoying sometimes
Maybe thats the only way she can find
To express herself
While shes struggling in life just to stay afloat
She needs to know
Theres someone out here who really cares
Someone who wants to be her friend
When shes shedding those many tears
Alone
Even though it may seem shes pushing you away
Please dont give up on her right now
Just try and understand
The mess her life has become
I know she has to feel so alone
So caught up in a life
In which she has no control
No where to run
No where to hide
No where to turn
Just dying inside
Turning in on herself
Committing suicide
Not of the flesh
But of the heart the mind
So please dont give up on her right now
Shes become a loner of sorts
Solitary one
One who has no goals in life
No dreams to satisfy
No hunger
No thirst for life
No plans to fall by the wayside
Just lives life day by day
Somewhat like a drifter one might say
Please dont give up on her right now
She needs to have someone like you in her life
Someone whos strong and true to be her guide
Someone to build her up not tear her apart
Someone to give her love from the heart
Some one who will stay not just for a little while
Just to walk in and out of her life
So please dont give up on her right now
Show her the love I know is in your heart
Something that she cant seem to express herself right now
Just try and be there for her
Even if all you do is pray
Let her know you care somehow
Let her know today
Please dont give up on her right now
Even though she may push you away
She needs to know youre her friend
One upon whom she can count on and always depend
To be by her side when shes reaching out for someone
To just care about her to just give her love
Someone she can talk to and feel that she doesnt have to hide
When she may feel her worst fear in life is coming true
Being abandoned by everyone shes ever known
Being abandoned by her family and her friends too
Worst of all being abandoned by you
So please just dont give up on her right now
