Excellent cut to the back, The defender had no chance at all, The player sped away to the opposing goal, Although his opposition made many a fake fall The referee saw the misdoing, And decided his whistle to blow, He pulled out the much loathed yellow-card, And said, Son, you dived low Judging the circumstances and going ahead, The player manoeuvres the ball into the penalty box, He tries at goal, but the shot is deflected by the goalie, The player beats his chest and onto his knees he drops Wait, one of his team-mates handles the loose-ball, And lobs it in his direction with a mighty kick, He thinks not twice when he heads it into the net, How he saved his team with his final minute flick
