An actress, an actress
What I long to be
But money's an issue
Oh woe is me
I sound like a brat
I know, I know, I know
A thieving little rat
Always talking about woe
But you do not know
How imperfect my life is
Always having to be more
Than what my family is
And even now
They expect more than I can do
You wouldn't believe
The misery they put me through
Seems like my emotions don't matter
Seems like none of them care
The arguing, the fighting
If they knew they wouldn't dare
But I will never tell
This secret that I hold
It's worth more to me
Than all the nation's gold

I agree, your family should read it. It would really make them think, I know it made me think and it wasn't even about me. Very good job, though. You have a lot of talent, so keep using it!
