Have you ever had a present, wrapped in paper coloured gold containing disappointment, when your eyes behold. In my fathers parable, he taught me long ago It's not the covering that counts, nor ribbons, or a bow It's whats inside that means the most, quite wise, as fathers go. Too many judge the cover, before they read the book they dont think It's important, to have another look. This wisdom that he taught me, has stood me in good stead judge the soul and not the face, the heart and not the head.

Extremely sage advice given you. We all probably miss a lot in life by not delving deeper into people and things. Beauty comes from within and importance is not always obvious until you see the truth of the matter.
