not for a moment

but forever
and in all ways
my sweetest love
you bring joy
to my heart
all of my love
to you i impart
struck as i am
by cupid's dart
oh, sweetest love
cleansed with tears
i will never know
what it is like
to be a part
of your life
but i'll be brave
and take things
in stride for
in my heart

does abide
