Love

Contributed by MissMandy on Thursday, 1st July 2004 @ 01:33:54 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Love is a confusing word
and if you know it's meaning
share it with the whole wide world
for you are the only one.

If love can make you smile
can it also make you cry?
If love can move the mountians,
can it also move the sky?

Why do you still ache for her?
She tore your heart in pieces.
What in the world did you take her for?
She cheated on you more than once.

Yes, I am her friend,
but I am your friend, too.
I'm not going to take sides this time
because there's nothing I can do.

Why did you believe in her?
You know she is a whore.
Why did you always confide in her?
She was never truly happy.

Why does love both excite and destroy?
'Cause people don't know what true love is.
Only God can bring us true, pure love
and I will forever be his.

Yes, very good. Love... if we only knew a few of the answers... well, then I guess it wouldn't be as fun.
Take care,
David
