Between The Two

Contributed by faithmairee on Thursday, 1st July 2004 @ 03:32:34 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

one man wanted my heart
the other one made it bleed
one man made me smile
the other made me plead

one took me for granted
while the other one was fair
one man kept me crying
while the other really cared

one man made me happy
the other made me blue
one left me in april
the other left in june

Excellent flow of words in this piece of work. Yes, I agree with Pixie. I think we have all experienced this in one way or another in our lives. Sad but is life.

Love,
Rita

You threw me a bit with the end as well.... though, unlike Nessa, I thought it'd go the other way... that you'd wind up with the 'bad' one and be left wishing for the 'good' guy. and... yes... I agree - very relatable. Funny how it still has impact even if he wasn't Mr. Perfect and it wasn't exactly wonderful.

Thanks for sharing this-
