In The Way...

Contributed by Joker17 on Thursday, 1st July 2004 @ 07:02:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

In The Way you told me
Hit me right between the eyes.
I did not see it coming
And I was so surprised.

In The Way your heart spilled
Made me shiver down my spine
You told me what you wanted
You said you will be mine.

In The Way it happened
I lost all words to speak
My heart increased it’s racing
My body felt so weak.

In The Way you held me
Said more than words could say
We made it through this hell
And back again to stay.

In The Way you whispered
How much you need me too
Completed life inside me
To begin again anew.

In The Way we’ll go on
Just one thing left to do
We cannot live apart for long
I need to be with you.

In The Way we’ll make it
With faith so pure and vast
In The Way I love you
This time I know we’ll last.

In The Way I want you
Still more and more each day
Nothing else can slow us down
And nothing’s In The Way.
