Cry the Sorrow

Contributed by Xperplexed_eyesX on Thursday, 1st July 2004 @ 09:52:44 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Turning away from the world
which seems to be weeping, for you.
Your heart heavy, your pride damaged,
your soul left alone to cry those tears
those painful tears of lost dreams...
which seem to just roll off your cheeks
forever forgotten...Blades cut into your
skin but you cant escape the killer, for
the killer is yourself. As the blade grazes
your skin spilling silver blood you cut again
weeping your emotions in a whirl
what kind of freak am I? you ask yourself
my blood is not pure black hollowness
seizes your heart and your eyes show no
effort at all to Fight this, this horrible eating
inside of you. The blade in your hand
drops to the floor reflecting the horror
captured on your face as silver blood
pours your hand falls tears streaming
down your pale white face it is then
you realize that death is only the
beginning you escaped nothing but
rather hurdled yourself into another
adventure but I must warn you not
all adventures are great you search
your memories for a comforting sign
to show you had made the right
decision but, you cant find any bad
ones only smiling faces gazing your
wayfor you long forget your bad
memories you clutch the knife in
your hand as you fall into a black
puddle wondering what will this all become?...
