People get scared
people get mad
people get happy
people get sad.
Feelings are strange
they all can make you cry
but tears of sorrow and tears of joy
feel very different in your eye.
Furious one minute
ecstatic the next
and sometimes when you aren't sure
you feel very vexed.
People get giddy
people get confused
people get ticked
people get bemused.
Feelings can change
in a second or two
and it's not just other people
it can happen to you.

| There's a lot of truth here, which gives the poem a vulnerable but accessible tone...nicely written. |
