Once our love had unbreakable ties
Yet you broke them with your lies.
Once our love had rhythm and ryhme
Yet you make it silent in time.
Once our love knew no pain
Yet you make tears fall like rain.
Once our love didn't know the word quit
Yet our light we couldn't keep lit.
Once our love was stronger than steele
Yet you made me numb to where I could no longer feel.
Once our love was ours and ours alone
Yet you threw it away like a stone.
Once you loved me and I loved you
Yet you now get to say we are thru.
