Breaking up leads to sorrow!

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Wednesday, 23rd October 2002 @ 07:15:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It was not so long ago, but I can recall the day,
You left her hanging, you left her stray,
She hated you for leaving like you did,
You never open up,keeping it all hid,
you wanted to play the field,so you let her go,
Knowing she was the best thing, but you never told her so,
Now youre lonely again, wanting her by your side,
wanting to find her,to give it another try,
through those years you could'nt get her out of your mind,
knowing shes the best thing you'll ever find,
wanting to rekindle that old flame,
speaking about her,and weeping just to say her name,
Knowing you were wrong, will she take me back,
with out her your life is dull and black,
As he stands by her door to reveal his kiss,
he remembers that kiss he really did miss,
As the door opened, there stood a man in gray,
He asked who you were,as you pause to say,
I'm an old flame, and we use to date,
He simply said,"SON YOURE TOO LATE"
We just burried our daughter, just a moment ago,
But if you still love her,she will now know,
You lost your chance to ever be with her,
Now your memories together is just a blur,
So I say to you all who once had that great person, they simply let go,
Don't give up the love, because you just never know,
Listen to your heart and react to the pain,
My friend lost his love that he will never gain!
