Price of Life
My anger rises
My hate infuses
My love diminishes
Because of thee
My feelings of negativity
Were caused by thee
They will never leave me
It wasn't worth it
To feel this way
The price to be
With thee
It wasn't worth it
But it's too late
I'm left with what I hate
Contempt for giving in
The feelings rise again
Drowning me in their tides
Killing me till I die
Because I wasn't right
Life has a price
It's paid when you die
My anger rises
My hate infuses
My love diminishes
As I live again
I'll drown till I die
And pay the price
But this time
It wasn't enough
And I drown for it
My anger rises
To drown me
My hate infuses
To kill me
For living
My love diminishes
To drain me
From loving life
As I drown for it
I'm left with what I hate
Paying the price for life
