Twist 'o the Knife

I've shed too many tears For too many years I've hardened my heart, for sure I'm helpless to say I've gotten that way But there just isn't any sure cure
It's that twist 'o the knife That's hardened my life They just gotta keep twistin' away It's not enough that I'm broken They just gotta keep hoping That I'll fade more and more everyday
I refuse to give in I won't let them win They won't get their way with me I just keep plodding away Because, some day Hopefully, they'll just let me be!

Yeah, Jenna, It's a quandry!! If you close your heart, you lose, if you open you're heart you lose! Sometimes, I wish, I didnt't have to, But it's always there.

No I didn't. Must have been the Detriot connection. Didn't mean for it to be that way. But thanx. I take it as a compliment. :O)

I like this poem. It was very well worded, I've felt this way many times. Great job.

This poem really grabs your heart... What misery it must be that you're even prepared to let love go unnoticed, because of the pain you feel...
Hugs and strength!
