Windswept rivers
Frothing like rushing blood
Colored by a sun
Setting on a dying world
Where Chaos is the ruler
Of fallen kings and queens
And Banshees scream into the night
Where once voices sang
Lost hymns and praises
To dead gods and dead hopes;
Sang for release from the demons
That sought them in the night
Thirsting for their fear.
Their anger.
Their despair.
