Theres no one left to blame
Alone I will remain
Tears pouring make the rain
Watch the carpet become stained
From white it turns to red
Lay me down to bed
Fold my arms across my chest
Maybe now ill get some rest
Just looking for some peace
Once the pressure is released
Eyes starved of tears to shed
From white they turn to red
This games been overplayed
Feel Ive been betrayed
No longer feeling right
Im giving up the fight
This pains too hard to take
My spirit it will break
The hardest thing to face
Im so easy to replace
Ive been forced to face my fear
But now it ends right here
Weight carried by my head
From white it turns to red
Every time I see your face
The tears I soon can taste
Why do they still pour?
What am I living for?
An angel you were to me
But I didnt see
The pain that lied ahead
From white you turned to red
I feel like a disgrace
Its time to leave this place
My path ends so abrupt
Im done, Im giving up
Soon everything turns dark
Hear the silence of my heart
The voices start to fade
As I slip away
Now I see the gates
This life wasnt yours to take
Says a voice my head
From white the gates turn red

Not so hard to read between the lines .... i'm sorry you are feeling this way Steven.
it's a wonderful poem. and something very haunting about the 'white to red' lines. it brings everything back to that one place....and i get a visual from these words |

| alright, i know u dont have to read between the lines, some of my friends had a hard time understanding what i was talking about, so i just put that just in case other people did too. |
