The pretty flower outside my window,
had battled for so long, but has now wilted away.
The mighty sun outside my room,
had given me hope, but has now melted away.
The shining light inside my mind,
had burned so bright, but has now grown dim.
The ferocious fire in my eyes,
was drownded by my iris, like a candle in the rain.
I tried chasing your shadow,
I was so afraid of my own.
I ran from my prison cell,
I was so tired of being alone.
I battled for the words,
like a poet searching through his pain.
But I couldn't find an answer,
to the questions from my conscience.
Falling asleep, another day has died.
Tomorrow born, without you by my side.
