7 oclock, Wednesday night, and Im wonderin
Why hes always talkin to her
His name is Jose; hes a sophomore with some talents
He acts dim-witted, but Im not quite sure what it means
And when hes there,
The people gaze and angels sing
Why would he notice me?
Hes watching baseball
Envied by the dumb guys
Listening to John Mayer
Victories in his eyes
Its like a dumb movie
Hes lookin through me
If you were me, then youd be
Screamin Someone shoot me!
As I screw up sadly
Tryin to get the guy that only I want

He likes the Cubbies and I like the Yankees
His wardrobes filled with what all the jocks wish they had
He said hed like score before he dies at an old age
I doubt hell see that Im the best hell ever have
