Knocking on Heaven's Door

Contributed by Bones on Monday, 5th July 2004 @ 07:14:03 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Lost inside the mind
Trapped within this world
Trapped within this purgatory
But I have no way to escape
But only two things can
They're not something money can buy
They're not material objects of matter
They're belief and love
I know I seem delirius in all thought
But I have a mind of my own
And I'm not gonna sit here all alone

I'm knock on heavens door
I'm praying to enter those gates on day

Forgiving father
Please help, Holy Spirit
I can't go on without your guidence
But I know I have the only things that matter
Deep within my heart
They're belief and love
Lord, I worship only you
My love, it's you who I love
I'm trying to be there with you
In heaven, that's why I'm knocking on this door

I'm knocking on heaven's door
I'm trying to prove to myself I can be with you

I'm not gonna sit around and wait
I'm gonna try my best to be with you
There in paradise, the place I wanna be
But everywhere I am with you
My love, that's heaven for me
I'm not trying to die again
I'm only trying to be with you
I'm only trying to be with you forever
That way I wont have to beg when I pray
I'll only thank God, for having you there by my side
