My years without you
Seemed so blue
I walked to life
Without a clue
Of what a friend
Could really be
Of how someone
Could love me
I looked and looked
But never found
As good of friend
As you around
It seemed in moving
I left behind
The only ones
Who'd treat me kind
When I left
And moved away
It made me see
I longed to stay
Now I may think
Or sit and rhyme
But without friends
It's a waste of time

i lost my best friend this year and it ook a long time to learn how to deal with the pain..but somehow i never really recoverd.having friends is great and having to say goodbye is terrible..i know this pain all to well. great write^_^
