Tear of Confusion

Contributed by forgottensorrow on Tuesday, 6th July 2004 @ 03:25:38 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

A tear falls down my face
How could I end up in such a place?
A place I never wanted to be
Never wanted to hear of
Never wanted to see
A place of confusion
Lost souls mixed up into an illusion
One that wants us to feel left out
Screaming, crying, shouting out
For love, for peace, for solitude
We can grasp one at a time
Never enough to satisfy
Our wants, our needs, our desires
Too much confusion
I want out of this illusion
Out of this place
As another tear streams down my face

Cheers to that! There is never enough time for wants and needs....but you have to admit, if we got everything we wanted at a blink, we wouldn't be as motivated as we are. Really makes one enjoy the little things.
I like the way your poem flows. :D
