When we said goodbye
It was all I could do not to cry
I could not look you in the eyes
and say the words you wanted to hear
You told me you were sorry that it
was all a lie you never loved me
like I loved you
You wanted me to say that it was alright that
I wasent going to fight
But how can I tell you that its alright
when my heart is breaking in two
so i hold my head up and softly smile
and i say i just want you to be happy
so with that you turn and walk away
and as i lie the tears fall down my face

| WoW that was awesome!! i can relate to that all too well. When you tell someone all you want is them to be happy, but deep down all you want is them to be happy with you. And even though you know that they must be happy now, your heart is left broken and you are in tears. Its not a win win situation no matter how you look at it. But there is someone out there for u...u'll find him! I thought I did find him but who knows anymore! Check out my writing and leave me some comments sometime!! |
