Love me

Topic: selfstruggles

I will rule the world
How familiar did that sound?
I wish I was that little girl again
Ambition, ambition
You tell me all about it
When you whisper it in your sleep
When you whisper me in your sleep

How your whisper of ambition becomes desperation
That pathetic love me, please, love me
You leave in my ear each night
That nave hope that someday you just might

I will rule the world
Did you hear that determination in my voice?
Theres an ongoing battle between me and you
Only you are me, me as a girl
Me as an emotionless little girl
So tell me all about it
When I whisper it in your sleep
When I whisper you in my sleep

How your whisper of determination becomes desperation
That pathetic Love me, please, love me
You leave in my ear each night
The love and hatred begin that famous fight

I will rule the world
I will rule the world
Am I becoming a lady?
Or am I trapped within a girl?

How my whisper of desperation becomes so saddened and true
That pathetic Love me, please love me
I leave lingering in the air in a tone I fear
Only I am the only one left to hear
My whisper of sadness and truth, becomes a song
As I whisper Love me, please, love me
The whole night long

I liked this. It almost sounded like a song!
Well done.
