your drinking days are over
this liquid once running through your veins
is gone
vanished without a trance
no substance of poison left behind
your free and clean
a new life afresh
but you start to renew the blood
with tips of this yeasty drink
drunk was once good
now its beyond and wilde
agressive and bleak
its very much alive
but in him he seems dead
he takes one last swig
and looks with those tired drunken eyes
and toast's to death...
