I love the way you feel, So soft against my skin, You lie with me silently, Forgiving every sin, You never yell back at me, Or turn and walk away, You are always there for me, At any time of day, You calmly take my abuse, Smashed against my chest, You never steal the covers, So I can get my rest, You look on with passive eyes, And a soft sewn smile, Even when you get tossed, In the corner for awhile, You never have a complaint, You never raise a fuss, With my deepest secrets, It's always you I trust, You know I love you, Teddy, I just wanted you to see, You'll never be unwanted, Lying next to me.
