What is this school spirit you speak of? School's not something I enjoy or love It's all so funny in the movies No one really knows the real deal, no one sees
I want to blow this place up with a Bunson Burner I'll blame it on being a slow learner I hate this place, and I want out Isn't it obvious, or do I have to shout?
I hear kids get called a hateful word But that's all it is right? I guess to some people it never occured Words aren't just words, they cut in deep Making the assulted lose more than sleep
It hurts me to say that I was once just a bystander As many others were But I'm putting an end to this today Without the slightist hint of dismay
I've seen too much hurt in peoples' eyes I've consoled the lonely boy as he sits and cries Wiping away his tears How can people be so shallow and cruel after all these years?

Nicely rhymed. I remember these days of school you talk about, but my experience was a little more saline than yours.
Well written. Keep at it. |
