What is new and too stuck on my mind like Elmer's glue Is brand new you and all your secrets I'm not yet privy to The future's present to me would be the smell of close to you I imagine we'd converse on the downsize of everything that was once beautiful in this world of ours And why the stony grind of your voice has mesmerized me Only eight tracks deep into your mind I remember your Thursday night eyes twinkling like springtime wind chimes I feel no qualms about your aura and would barter my own star for more of your shining insight Snatch a sample sip like a ripe sweetened Snapple on my lips and relax in your smile I been called dope like marijuana but your persona sobered my swagger Melted my sermon on the mount to dripping palaver So before I carry on to an even more fantastic mile In the fashion and spirit of those stiffbacked old folks Let me know if you are spoken for For I am an eloquent speaker, too.
