I am his mother

2/13/2004-

I am his mother

Do not judge me for what i have done
For you have not walked in my shoes
He is not your son
You don't love him and long for him
As much as I do, and always will

You did not feel him and plan for him
And know him and promise him that
You would always take care of him
As i will
He is my son

You did not hear the doctors say
That he will be special
That he already is special
And that he will be special untill
The day he dies

You did not pray to God for the
Third ultrosound would comfirm
Your hopes that he would be healthy
You did not see the tears
In the doctors eyes when he
Comfirmed the diagnosis

You did not pray to God for
Him to never have to suffer
For him to take Brandon to Heaven
Where there would be no pain
You didn't feel his pain
I did I am his mother

When you simply said to me
That i don't have the right
To keep his life
I know you did not feel my struggle

When you simply said to me
That i don't have to keep his life
For him to be happy
I know you did not feel his struggle

I do not know what God wants for him
I do not have his wisdom
And neither do you
I do know that he loves me
I felt his love through the people
He gave me
I know that God did feel my struggle

All i ask for you know
Is that you tell me I am his mother
And do not jugde me for who I am
Or what i have done
For you have not walked in my shoes
Or carried him this far
For I am his mother

Beautiful poem. There is a divine plan for all us and that is not for any of US to say.

Sending good health, peace and love your way

Your pain is evident. Revel in the strength and wisdom of God and forge ahead in your love for your son and know that there is rhyme and reason for God's decision. My heart goes out to you.

wonderful expressive write. We can never guess what God's plan is, we can only have faith in His wisdom.

Lovely, and painful

Oh my God. I am speechless at a keyboard. That was an amazing poem. Absolutely, I loved it. Peace, and if is factual admission, God loves you and everything will be okay, nothing is bad forever. Beautiful poem. I have experience in the feeling of absolute responsibility over someone when that was not the initial intention. Loved this poem.

i hope brandon doesn't grow up like you,if he does oh sh*t!hes my nephew, hes my brothers son, jamies not just a spirm donner like you're making it sound like he is,as much as you like to lie you might wanna stop,i think you're just looking for sympathy from all these ppl on this site, well guess what i've been around since day 1 and jamie is brandons father, unless you did cheat on jamie,if you did the rumours are true, and if thats the case i don't think you should come around jamie anymore, thats just not cool, anyways i'm gonna ask a favor and thats to stop bashing jamie and if you're gonna start bashing me or anybody else that is close to me think twice about it,i blame you for my moms crippitalism!

if this poem were true i might say something good about it but since nothing was true i'm just gonna go to the hospital

bye booboo

This is really good.
It made me wonder if my mother(not my biological one) can ever feel the same way , but it's good.
