Good Morning Smile

I get up in the morning
and walk out of my door,
to view the morning sunrise,
each one different than before.
It's beauty overwhelms me,
an amazing sight to behold;
some are pale and serene,
others bright and bold.
It seems to say "Good Morning"
as the day begins anew.
A peaceful reminder from God,
saying, "I am here for you".
I carry it's picture with me
in the back of my mind,
and pull it out as needed
in any troubles I may find.
It reminds me of His promise
that I am not alone;
that He is right there for me
and will safely guide me home.
So I always seem to smile
and feel at peace when I see
each amazing new sunrise,
and God smiling down on me.
