The second sorry

Youre so different from others,
I saw that in you right away,
Youre not a joke to me,
Youre the person I love.

I fear myself sometimes you know,
Of what Im feeling and the consequences,
Its likea mechanism I have,
To be offensive and make jokes.

Youre the only one, who took it to heart,
Maybe thats why it hurts so much,
I said sorry and I meant it,
Ive never meant it as much as I do now.

You said you loved me,
I believed you when you said it,
But you never truly know whats in someones heart,
So hopefully now you know whats in mine.

You.

Youre deciding what to do now,
Whether Im worth the pain and frustration love brings,
I guess I cant answer for you,
Youve always known who I am.

Why you didnt tell me I dont know,
Im hoping you will soon enough,
Im fearful of your decision,
Its cutting at me already.

Ive talked to your friends,
People who have known you longer than I,
Theyre some of the best people you can find
Especially one, who cares for everyone besides himself.

Hes going threw something as well you know,
Were both in pain over people we love; I dont think it ever ends.
I hope you see this, cos you know who you are.

Im not someone to write love in a poem,
Its always been dark emotions and thoughts before,
And even though this has the same sort of element,
Im still writing for you!

Whilst Im writing his you could have already decided,
And if you have I hope its what I want to hear,
Cos being me wont be the same anymore,
Ill have to try and be happy.
Im not sure If I should tell you about this,
So you can read it on a website,
I would like to see your reaction
Disgust or surprise?

I would like you to tell me,
I want to stay with you,
Cos I love you,
Not matter what you say, I didnt mean any pain I caused you.

The only pain I can cause is to myself.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
