loving you has left me wanting
to know you as much as a person
can know such a private man
loving you has left me longing
for more than you choose
to share when you are near
long after you have gone
you haunt my dreams at night
you who have made me want
to take the risk of being hurt
do not see we fit together
at least not yet but someday
you will see that our
love was surely meant to be
