We met years and years before
I saw you smile and it made my heart soar.
Then problems consumed you
And I got lost too.
Since then our lives have gone in differnt directions
Yet they have crossed in many sections.
Losing touch for awhile and missing you
Finding each other for awhile,then feeling blue.
Ever since I first saw you sing
I knew you had that special thing.
I wanted you to be mine
I was waiting for a sign.
Something to let me know
Weather to hold on or let go.
Now you belong to another
My heart is still all a flutter.
With the thought that someday maybe
I and you, you and I might be free
To share the love that I have inside for you
With the hope that someday you will feel the same way too.
