I sat there so warm
Wrapped tight in your arms
Secure and safe
In love's sweet warmth.
In silence encompassed
A comfortable quiet
No words need be said for
This stillness defines it.
Gentle soft kisses
Flower my hair
Slowly you're closer
Moving with care.
You stare into my eyes
Oh, to see you at last
You have broken the lock
You've let go of the past.
That look, that gaze---
You opened your heart
Then you leaned down
To give me a part.
Our soft lips then touch
A taste of heaven
This moment I've longed for--
Awaited, forbidden.
But now all is right
So perfect, so pure
This kiss, this moment
It's love, I am sure.
