on the inside my heart is aching
but i'll never let it show
on the outside i seem ready
will you ever know
can't you tell the razor is my very best and only friend
what do you see when you look at me
can't you tell i'm face to face with the end
to you do i seem happy
that's how i like to act
i'll never forget your fake reaction
but you can't take the past back
i'll always long for some of your affection
but that's something you won't let me have
can you tell what i'm feeling inside
can you tell my world is black
can you tell that i shouldn't be alive
can you tell that i want my daddy back
