Scarred Within
You hurt me more
With every word
My anger rose
The things you think
But go untold
You hurt me more
With every word
The tears flow
I can't handle anymore
With each insult
That is true
I keep from cutting
With the blade
Each word cuts me
Deep enough
To give me pain
To make me weep
Each word you said to me
Has cut me deeply
Because of this
I'm at the beginning
So self conscious
Of who I am
To them
Because of this
I'm scarred within
My reality
Is killing me
With every word
You said to me
